Nigeria’s CJN Two Sons Emerge Winners Of Bauchi Primaries
The Children of the Chief Justice of Nigeria, CJN, Ibrahim Tanko Muhammad, have emerged as the All Progressives Congress, APC Candidate as well as the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP Candidate at the just concluded National Assembly
Primaries in Bauchi State.
The two sons of the CJN, Siraj Ibrahim Tanko emerged as APC’s Bauchi North Senatorial District Candidate, while Sani Ibrahim won the Shira/Giade Federal Constituency, under the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.
While confirming the development, a source said that the elder brother, Siraj Ibrahim Tanko, polled 189 votes, to defeat the incumbent Senator Adamu Bulkachuwa.
The source said the two brothers’ success at the polls is not surprising, as the delegates were simply bought off with the money, instead of choosing the right candidates for their parties.
Above all, the influence of their father was said to have played a significant role in their emergence as their Party Candidates.
He said, “no doubt money was well spent on the day of the primaries, as the delegates were after the highest bidder.”
The two sons, of the Chief Justice of Nigeria, Ibrahim Tanko Muhammad, will both face the 2023 General Elections in different parties, the Peoples Democratic Party, and the All Progressives Congress, respectively.
