BOSAN Elects New Executive Committee
The Body of Senior Advocates of Nigeria (BOSAN) has elected a new Executive Committee to superintend its affairs. This was a major highlight of its Annual General Meeting/Elections held on Saturday at the Nigerian Law School, Lagos Campus.
In a statement made available by the BOSAN Secretariat, renowned chartered arbitrator, Mr. Olumide Sofowora, SAN emerged as the new Secretary of the body, replacing longstanding former Secretary, Mr. Seyi Sowemimo SAN, Mr. Oladipo Olasope, SAN was elected as the Assistant Secretary.
Former Ogun State Attorney-General & Commissioner for Justice, Mrs. Abimbola Akeredolu, SAN emerged as the new Treasurer while leading maritime lawyer and President of the Women’s International Shipping and Trading Association (WISTA-NIG.), Mrs. Jean Chiazor Anishere, SAN was elected as the Financial Secretary. Mr. Abdul Mohammed SAN is the new Programming and Publicity Secretary.
The new executives were inaugurated by the presiding Chairman, Chief Wole Olanipekun, SAN who also doubles as the Chairman of the Body of Benchers.
