Federal High Court To Begin Easter Vacation April 8th, Appoints Vacation Judges

The Federal High Court has appionted vacation Judges for its annual Easter break commencing on the 8th of April, 2022.

In a circular addressed to All Judges of the Federal High Court by the Chief of Judge of the Federal High, Hon. Justice John T. Tsoho on the 22nd of March.

This year’s Easter vacation will commence on the 8th of April to the 25th of April.

The Abuja, Lagos and Port-Harcourt divisions of the Court will be open to the public in cases of extreme urgency.

The Abuja Division will cater for cases from the Federal Capital, North Central, North Western and North Eastern parts of the country.

The Lagos Division will cater for cases from Lagos and the South Western part of the country while Port-Harcourt Division will cater for cases from Rivers State, the South-South and South Eastern states.

For the Abuja Division, the vacation Judges are Hon. Justice A.R. Mohammed and Hon. Justice N.E. Maha.

Lagos Division are; Hon. Justice T.E. Ringim and Hon. Justice A.O. Awogboro

Port-Harcourt division are: Hon. Justice A.T. Mohammed and Hon. Justice S.I. Mark.

The Chief Judge further enjoined the vacation Judges to be wary of political cases brought to their Courts this period

Judicial activities are to resume on the 26th of April.
