Free virtual tours of the Judicial Committee of the Privy Council now available to Commonwealth students
In a timely stroke of synchronicity to coincide with our webinar series on the Privy Council , free virtual tours of the Privy Council are now available to Commonwealth students who wish to further explore the history and role of this fascinating institution.
Interactive virtual tours are led by an experienced guide via Microsoft Teams. Tours cover the history and role of the Judicial Committee of the Privy Council (JCPC) and the UK Supreme Court and there will also be a discussion of a JCPC case. The JCPC is the final court of appeal in many Commonwealth jurisdictions. Tours last 45 minutes and can be booked between 10am and 4pm (UK time) on Monday to Thursday. Tours are free for schools in JCPC jurisdictions
Tours are aimed at students aged 15 to 16 years old. The contents are suitable for those studying law, politics and history, or any school group interested in the final court of appeal for their country or jurisdiction.
Please email the enquiries team at the UK Supreme Court for more information and to book: [email protected].
